We offer Best Value Pricing, which means that you will only pay for the actual miles that your courier vehicles travels, whilst carrying your consignment. The calculation of the mileage will be made from the full pickup postcode to the full delivery postcode. This may seem obvious, however most couriers charges aren’t made this way; they charge based on ‘central points’ not actual mileage.

Most couriers charge Central Point Pricing, which works on the premise that the mileage you are charged is based on a central point within the pickup and set down postcodes. So for example, if the distance between the central point of postcode A and B was 35 miles you would be charged 35 miles times your mileage rate* every time you used a courier between these two points, regardless of the actual miles driven.

*If your not sure what your mileage rate is, you could either ask you current courier company or simply look at one of your invoices and work out
the total mileage between the pickup and drop off postcodes, you can easily calculate this online at http:// mappoint.msn.co.uk. Simply divide the number of miles by the total charge, deduct any extra charges and what’s left is your mileage rate. You might want to try this on a number of
different journeys as you may well find that the mileage rate changes depending on when you go.
